Full Lot Description

Five items of jewellery, to include a Georgian seed pearl and mother of pearl brooch, a mid 19th century smoky quartz and foil back rock quartz brooch, a late Victorian 9ct gold chalcedony and turquoise forget-me-not brooch, an early 20th century 15ct gold split pearl crescent moon brooch and a late Victorian 14ct gold rose-cut diamond enamel bracelet component.

Lengths of brooches 3.9 to 6.7cms. Length of component 1.3cms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Part of the mother-of-pearl backing to the Georgian brooch is broken and is deficient of some seed pearl.

<li>The crescent moon brooch is significantly misshapen and in need of attention.

<li>The smoky quartz brooch is deficient of one stone.

<li>The chalcedony forget-me-not brooch holds evidence of repair to the floral applique, the leave has been soldered back on out of line.

<li>Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>

<li>Chalcedony brooch metal testing as 10ct gold, bracelet component metal testing as 14ct gold.
