A 19th century Cantonese carved tortoiseshell box of circular form, the removable cover decorated with figures, buildings and prunus trees, the interior of the box fitted with 8 removable trays of segmented form, diameter 5.75" (14.5cm). Together with another similar, smaller example, diameter 2.25" (5.5cm).
