Full Lot Description
A Canadian sterling silver pierced dish, of shaped, oval form with embossed rim raised on plume mounted paw feet with marks for Henry Briks & Sons, and an Indian Colonial silver dish, of circular, shaped form upon stepped feet, with probable maker's marks for Hamilton & Co. Together with two further small, unmarked dishes, one having foliate embossing in relief and the other with pierced, fruiting vine rim. Maximum length of Canadian example 5.75" (14.4cm), overall weight 12.29 ozt (382.3 grams).

<li>Items are in mixed condition, all showing general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
<li>Canadian example shows some bashing to sides.
<li>Some edges to the Indian colonial example are bent and warped.
<li>Embossed and fruit and vine pierced rim test around 87-89% and 90% Ag. Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
