Full Lot Description
A George V silver sugar caster, of typical, bellied form upon spread foot, having a foliate engraved and geometric pierced cover, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1913. Together with a cream jug and matching sugar bowl, of squat, lobed form with waved rims and scrolled handles, hallmarked J & R Griffin (Joseph & Richard Griffin), Chester 1913, plus a small, pierced dish with swing handle, having a beaded border enclosing roped band and pierced sides, hallmarked Robert Pringle & Sons, Chester 1910. Height of caster 6.5" (16.5cm), overall weight 11.7 ozt (364 grams).

<li>Items all display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
<li>Base to caster is very bashed and misshapen, so caster has a considerable wobble on foot.
<li>Pierced top of dome shows considerable bashing.
<li>Lower, bellied body displays some small bashes and dents.
<li>Jug and bowl shows some small bashes to central lobed bodies.
<li>Areas around handles to jug and bowl are very darkly tarnished.
<li>Hallmarks are clear and legible.
<li>Handle to dish is not self supporting.
