A mid-Victorian silver mug, with trailing, foliate sprigs in mid-relief enclosing central, presentation engraved cartouche and embossed dancing maidens to either side, upon spread base with conforming, repeated decoration. Hallmarked George Aldwinckle, London 1864. Maximum height 12.5cm, weight 6.5ozt (205g).
