Full Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted book, of pierced, foliate scrolled and cherub design, surrounding central initial engraved cartouche, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1898. Together with a silvered metal overlay porcelain vase, with thin column neck leading to globular body, on spread wood base. Length of book 30cm, height of vase 19cm.

- Items displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Silver mount to book is very dirty and tarnished, with some minor losses and loose screws.
- Hallmarks to silver mount of book are quite worn but legible.
- Vase is cracked all the way around the base of the neck; also shows a few punctures and dents to porcelain.
- A few details to silvered metal overlay show some damage.
