A mid-Victorian silver christening mug, having alternating, foliage scroll engraved tear drop design and conforming, undulating shape, with twin opposed presentation and crest engraving. Hallmarked Edward & John Barnard, London 1857. Maximum height 11.7cm, weight 5.7ozt (178.7g).

Condition Report
- Item shows general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing.
- Some areas are quite dark and would benefit from a clean.
- Presentation engraving reads 'JMG from his grandmother JJG JUNE 1858'.
