Condition Report
- Items show general surface scratches, marks and wear.
- Silver gauge is quite thick.
- Silver to all items is tarnished and dull, and would benefit from a clean and polish.
- All items wobble on feet when pressure is exerted, especially the jug, which shows a crumple to one feet.
- Lid to teapot wobbles on hinge.
- Widest area of teapot, mid-central body, shows a notable bash to one lobed area, with some further, smaller compressions across same, horizontal area. This area to the sugar bowl also shows some minor bashing.
- Hallmarks are clear and legible. Bowl and jug hallmarked Henry Holland (of Holland, Aldwinckle & Slater), London 1866, teapot is hallmarked to other maker and earlier date.
- Interiors to all are blackened and dark.
