A late Victorian silver aide-memoire, of rectangular form with concealed pencil and celluloid sheet, stamped 'The Carlton' H J Cooper's Patent, hallmarked H J Cooper & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1895, measuring 8.5cm by 4cm; together with a continental silver box in the form of an envelope with stamp and post mark, hallmarked London import 1937, measuring 7cm by 5.7cm. Gross weight 3.56ozt (111g). (2).
