A mid-20th century silver cigarette case, of rectangular engine-turned form with sloped edges, and opening to a gilt interior. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Birmingham 1960. Measuring 14cm by 8.5cm, gross weight 7.17ozt (223g).

- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks and scratches
- Slightly heavier wear around edges and corners, including slight dints to one corner
- With some general tarnishing all over and would benefit from a clean
- Hinges and clasp appear in good working order and it closes securely
- Interior with gilt metal elastic straps
- Hallmarks located inside, a little rubbed in places but all still legible; also impressed MAPPIN & WEBB
- With a cloth bag showing some general wear, discoloration and small holes to one corner
