A William IV silver vinaigrette, of rectangular form with raised floral chased borders, enclosing stippled and engraved decoration, the hinged lid with initialled central panel and opening to a silver-gilt interior with foliate-scroll pierced grille. Hallmarked Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1834. Measuring 3cm by 1.9cm, gross weight 9.8g.

- In good overall condition and decoration appears bright
- Displaying some light surface wear, marks and scratches, and minor surface nicks, including around edges
- Hinges to both lid and grille in good working order; closes flush and securely
- A little blackening and dried polish residues to some areas and crevices, including around the edges and corners inside, and to areas and edges of the grille
- Hallmarks located inside, rubbed in parts but all still clearly legible; grille appears unmarked
