A late Victorian silver small tea caddy, of fluted octagonal outline, decorated all over with classical scenes and mythological figures, with pull-off circular cover. Hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1896. Height 8cm, weight 3.62ozt (112.8g)

Condition Report
- Displaying general surface wear, marks, and scratches commensurate with age and use
- Some general tarnishing and a little blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- With minor surface nicks and dints, including around edges and rims, and particularly notable to the base
- Surface wear and rubbing to areas of the decoration, causing loss of detail or definition to some areas
- Lid is a good fit and stays on securely, with a couple of slight knocks to the protruding edge
- Hallmarks located in the decoration with part marks to the lid; rubbed in parts and some punches filled with residues, but all still legible
