Full Lot Description
A collection of five George III silver caddy spoons, all hallmarked Birmingham, comprising two examples with oval shape bowls, having stippled and punch engraved borders and flowers, maker's marks for Samuel Pemberton, 1810, and Cocks & Bettridge, possibly 1811, plus two spoons with shield shape bowls and bright-cut engraved decoration, dated 1797 and 1800, both with maker's mark 'IT', and a smaller example with circular bowl, by Joseph Willmore, possibly 1808. Length of largest spoon 8.8cm, and smallest 6cm, total weight 1.12ozt (34.7g). (5).

Condition Report
- No obvious repairs
- All displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age
- Some minor surface nicks/dints, including around edges
- Bowls have generally faired well and retained their shape
- Slight kinks and bends to some of the handles
- Decoration to all spoons appears in good overall condition with minimal loss of detail
- Hallmarks rubbed in parts with some punches blackened with dirt/dried polish residues, but mostly legible
