Full Lot Description
A collection of four Georgian silver caddy spoons with shell bowls, the handles of varying design, three with bright-cut engraved decoration, hallmarks for Peter & Ann Bateman, London 1796, Ledsam & Vale, Birmingham 1821, and the third marked only with lion passant, duty mark and possible date letter R; plus a Fiddle pattern example with monogrammed terminal, hallmarked George Knight, (assumed) London 1819. Length of largest spoon 9cm, and smallest 6.2cm, total weight 1.2ozt (37.3g). (4).

Condition Report
- No obvious repairs
- All displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age
- A little blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- Some minor surface nicks/dints, including around edges
- Bowls have faired well and retained their shape
- Slight kinks and bends to some of the handles
- Decoration to all spoons appears in good overall condition with minimal loss of detail
- Hallmarks rubbed in parts with some punches blackened with dirt/dried polish residues, but mostly clear and legible
- Overstruck or double struck date letter on the Ledsam & Vale spoon
