A George III silver salver, of circular form with gadroon rim, engraved armorial to the centre, and raised on three tapered feet also with gadroon edge. Hallmarked John Crouch I & Thomas Hannam, London 1798. Diameter 21.8cm, weight 16ozt (497.7g).

- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks, scratches, and tarnishing, commensurate with age and use
- A little blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- Armorial engraving appears bright
- Some file marks to the base, also some surface nicks/minor gouges, heavier scratches and pitting marks to the base
- Stands firm on its feet
