Pair of late Victorian silver military interest candlesticks, each loaded square base with engraved crest of the Queen's Own Oxfordshire Hussars, rising to a fluted classical column and circular nozzle with beaded rim. Hallmarked Hawksworth, Eyre & Co (James Kebberling Bembridge), Sheffield 1891. Height 13.5cm.

- Heavily weighted
- Both displaying surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and general use
- Some blackening and residues of dirt/dried polish to some areas and crevices
- With surface nicks, dints, and some heavier bashes around edges and corners
- Nozzles appear jammed in position and cannot be easily removed
- Hallmarks located along edge of base, all legible with minor rubbing; further town mark to each underside
