Full Lot Description
An Edwardian silver mounted table cigar box, of rectangular twin compartment form, the central handle with a patented opening mechanism rising up to open the two hinged lids, inscribed PATENT No. 1658, with cedar wood lined interior. Hallmarked Joseph Braham, London 1904. Measuring across the top 21cm by 17cm, approximate height to handle 14.5cm.

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use
- A little blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices, including hallmark punches
- Some minor surface nicks and dints, and heavier scratches to some areas
- Slightly heavier wear around edges and corners
- Patent opening mechanism appears in good working order
- Residues of dirt/dust inside, and in one of the compartments there is a gap between the wood base and side, possibly the wooden panel has just moved slightly?
- Lining to exterior base showing general wear and discolouration and two holes
- Hallmarked to various sections, rubbed/obscured in parts but mostly legible
- Silver rim around base engraved 'Edward & Sons, Glasgow'
