Full Lot Description
A collection of eleven Victorian silver condiment spoons, all London assay, comprising five salt spoons in Victoria pattern, of varying size, three hallmarked Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, 1838, 1839, other two hallmarked Charles Lias, 1849, and H J Lias & Son, 1870; plus a salt spoon with gilt bowl, and pair of mustard spoons, in Lily pattern, hallmarked Thomas Smily, 1864, and two salt spoons and an egg spoon, in Wellington pattern, various dates. Weight 8.75ozt (272g). (11).

Condition Report
- All spoons displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use, but overall appear in fairly good condition
- One of the Victoria pattern bowls showing some heavier surface wear and dense pitting inside
- All other bowls have generally faired well and retained their shape
- Traces of gilding to some bowls
- Slight loss of detail or definition to areas of the decoration on some of the spoons
- Initial or crest engravings to the majority of the spoons
- Hallmarks rubbed/distorted in parts with some punches blackened with dirt/dried polish residues, but mostly legible
