Full Lot Description
An Edwardian silver presentation inkstand, the rectangular base with gadroon and shell rim, and raised upon four foliate-scroll feet, fitted with central square inkwell and two mounts holding removable silver mounted glass pots, all with gadroon borders, the central hinged lid engraved 'To the Rev. C. Neill from the Parishioners of Haughton-le-Skerne Jan.1905'. Hallmarked Charles Stuart Harris, London 1903. Maximum length 27cm, weight of stand only 26ozt (808.4g).

Condition Report
- Gross weight of stand with glass inkwells 1230g
- Inkstand appears in fairly good overall condition
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches, commensurate with age
- Some general tarnishing all over, with some blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- Some minor surface nicks and heavier scratched marks to some areas
- The two mounts are a little loose
- The glass bottles are both dirty inside, one being very discoloured
- Glass bottles with some minor edge nibbles
