The enamel band reading 'Not lost but gone before'.
Engraved to the reverse of the urn 'M.G. Ob't 20 Feb 1757 At 41'.

Condition Report
Varied scratches and small marks. General significant discolouration.
Gem deficient to the flame to the top of the urn.
Later inner band added to the inside of the band, few scuffs, general soft solder visible.
Urn back section is loose, possibly due to the later inner band, slight give at the hinge.
General abrasion and losses to the enamel.
Diamonds appear bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
No obvious hair contained within the locket.
Length of urn 1.3cms.
