- Appears in fairly good overall condition
- The metal displaying some surface wear, marks, scratches, and patches of tarnishing/blackening to some areas and crevices
- Some minor nicks around the edge and some heavier file type marks/gouges in one area
- Ribbon appears clean with minor fraying at some edges
- Case with some general surface wear and minor scuffs/losses around edges and corners; with heavier worn patch to the base and marked in ink 'CO MILITARY HOSPITAL'
- Interior lining of case worn and faded in some parts
