A pair of Edwardian silver and mother-of-pearl novelty knife rests, each with weighted hexagonal base rising to a central ball and two carved mother-of-pearl wings. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1904. Diameter of base 4.3cm, approximate length across wings 7.5cm, and height 4cm. In fitted case.

Condition Report
- Both appear in fairly good overall condition
- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks, and scratches, commensurate with age and use
- Some general tarnishing all over with heavier patches to the underside and a little blackening/residues to some areas and crevices
- Hallmarks to both clear and legible with some minor rubbing
- Also impressed with registered no. 9427260
- Case also appears in fairly good overall condition, with some minor scuffs around the exterior edges and corners
- Interior lining a little faded/discoloured with a tear to the fabric over one hinge
