A mid-20th century silver compact case, of circular form with engine-turned decoration all over, the front with foliate border and rose gold tinted flower motif, opening to a fitted mirror and hinged cover to the powder compartment, hallmarked William Neale & Son Ltd., Birmingham 1953, diameter 7.4cm; together with an engine-turned square compact case, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1942, length 6.5cm. (2).
