Full Lot Description
A George V silver double sovereign case, of plain oblong shape with suspension loop, and opening to reveal two engine-turned sprung platforms for full and half sovereigns. Hallmarked Edwin Joseph Houlston, Birmingham 1912. Measuring 5cm by 3cm, gross weight 24.3g.

Condition Report
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use
- On the base, there is a patch where the surface appears pitted
- A little blackening around the hinges, clasp and join of the suspension loop
- Hinge and clasp appear in good working order and the case closes securely
- Spring platforms in good order
- Hallmarks and part hallmarks located inside and these all clear and legible
