Full Lot Description
A William IV silver four piece tea set, comprising teapot, coffee or hot water pot, twin-handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each of compressed circular form with engraved armorial to one side, with tongue capped scroll handles and raised on foliate-scroll feet, with cast strawberry finials to the hinged lids of the pots, and gilt interiors to the cream and sugar. Hallmarked Richard Pearce & George Burrows, London 1833 (coffee pot 1832). Length across teapot 26.5cm, height of coffee pot 22.5cm, gross weight 67.02ozt (2084.8g).

Condition Report
- All pieces displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches, and nicks, commensurate with their age and use
- Some tarnishing all over with blackening and residues to some areas and crevices
- Some visible seams
- Teapot and sugar bowl wobble slightly on their feet
- Gilded interiors to cream and sugar bowl
- Solder is visible under the lip of the spout of the cream jug indicating a possible repair
- Hinged lids to both pots in good working order; handles move very slightly within their ivory insulators
- Interior of teapot has a slight indentation from the lower handle join
- Armorial engravings to all pieces remain bright with only minor surface rubbing
- All hallmarked to each base, with part marks to the handles, lids and finials; mostly clear and legible with minor rubbing
