Full Lot Description
A George III silver meat dish, of oval form with gadroon, foliate, and shell motif border, with an associated mazarine having stylised foliate and geometric pierced decoration. Both hallmarked London 1812, the dish by William Stroud, and the mazarine by William Fountain. Maximum length of dish 50cm, and width 36cm, total weight 93.72ozt (2915.3g).

Condition Report
- Length of mazarine 43cm by 30.5cm
- Both displaying some expected surface wear, marks, and scratches, commensurate with age and use
- Many heavier scratched marks and nicks, mainly visible to the centre of the dish
- Some general tarnishing with a little blackening and residues of dried polish to some areas and crevices
- Hallmarks to both are clear and legible; marks on the dish with polish residues in the punches
- Due to the size and weight of this lot, it is not eligible for in-house packaging (or for packaging for a courier to collect)
