Full Lot Description
Drusy amethyst geode specimen of spherical form, very well polished on the exterior to a smooth finish, and revealing internal cavity. The interior is entirely lined with densely packed, and very small and well-terminated amethyst crystals, of a violet-pink hue, fairly saturated, and with lustre consistent with quartz crystals. The natural formation includes banding of agate at the rim of the cavity, providing an aesthetic contrast.
Sphere measuring approximately 95.0mm in diameter, with a 87.2 by 33.9mm jagged cavity opening.

- Geode on its natural state of preservation with no evidence of repair or artificial enhancement. Minor natural imperfections and variations in crystal size are consistent with a genuine mineral specimen.
- Amethyst drusy geode in very good condition with minor abrasions and nibbles to the polished surface and rim of the cavity.
