Full Lot Description
Yellow metal case, stamped 0,750. Signed manual wind calibre P838, numbered 2090809. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers. On an unsigned black leather strap with yellow metal deployant clasp, numbered 17264.
This model is characterised by a very open rectangular dial and by the elegant rounded corners to the gold case. Known at its creation in 1922 as The Tank "A Bords Arrondis" (with round edges) it was dubbed the Tank TC or Tank Louis Cartier from 1924. This example is dated to circa 1973.
