Full Lot Description
Two early George III silver table spoons, each in plain Old English pattern, the first example with shoulders, and engraved monogram below star motif crest to terminal, hallmarks a little distorted, possibly James Tookey, London 1765, length 21.5cm, the second with greyhound crest to terminal, hallmarked London 1770, maker's mark indistinct, length 21cm. Weight 4.39ozt (136.6g). (2).

Condition Report
- Both displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use
- Heavier patches of tarnishing to some areas
- Bowls with many surface nicks and slightly heavier wear around the edges and tips where the metal feels a little thinner, more so on the earlier spoon
- Heel drops to the reverse of each bowl have retained definition
- Hallmarks are bottom struck with some marks partly squashed and distorted, and some punches a little blackened
