Condition Report
Metal with some minor surface scratches, minor surface abrasions, and an area of discolouration to the stickpin head.
Ruby appears light reddish-pink, with some minor nicks/nibbles.
Stickpin head electronically tested as approximately 20ct gold, stickpin pin electronically tested as approximately 18ct gold. Due to age, gilt interference possible.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
