Full Lot Description
Duchess of Sutherland Cripples Guild, two silver plated on copper porringers and covers, each of similar, circular, squat form having twin handles decorated with olive branches, and slightly domed cover embossed with leaf and berry borders. Both stamped to base with the Guild mark of D.S.C.G under a ducal coronet. Approximate rim diameter 16cm, and maximum length across handles 27.5cm. (2).

- The covers are slightly differing in design, one is more 'domed' and the other has a more pronounced rim around the edge
- Both displaying some general expected surface wear, marks, scratches, and tarnishing commensurate with age and use
- With surface nicks and dints to both, including around edges
- Some wear to the plating, and copper is showing through to some raised areas of the decoration, and around some edges
- Guild marks to both clear and legible
