Full Lot Description
A mid-20th century silver hip flask, of curved rectangular form with engine-turned decoration and panelled sides, and initial and date engraved cartouche to the front, with bayonet closure lid on hinged arm. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield, probably 1963. Maximum height 17cm, length across base 10cm, gross weight 10.3ozt (320.5g).

- Displaying some general light surface wear, marks, scratches, and minor nicks
- Some general light tarnishing
- Hinged arm and bayonet closure in good working order and closes securely
- With yellowish staining and residues inside the lid, hinged arm and around the neck
- Hallmarks located to the base, all clear and legible; also impressed 10ozs and numbered 1446
- Sold with an Asprey Bond Street box in poor condition
