A George V Scottish silver pedestal sugar basket, the oval swing-handled form with applied reeded rim and raised on an oval foot. Hallmarked Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh 1914. Length 13.2cm, height with handle upright 15cm, weight 4.04ozt (126g).

- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches, and tarnishing commensurate with age and use
- With a little blackening and dried polish residues to some areas and crevices
- Some minor surface nicks and dints
- Some slight knocks or scuffs around edge of foot
- Swing handle in good order and self-supports when upright
- Hallmarks to main body are clear and legible, although punches are blackened with dirt/residues
