A late Victorian silver mounted novelty pepper pot in the form of a coopered milk churn, hallmarked Birmingham 1895, maker's mark partly rubbed, probably Pembrook & Dickins, with presentation plaque dated 1897, height 8.5cm; together with a pair of open salts of rounded rectangular form with gadrooned decoration, hallmarked James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin), Chester 1900, length 5.5cm, weight 1.76ozt (55g).
