Georgian gold necklace with hand clasp

Surface scratches and small marks.
Many links variously worn where the links connect.
The clasp does not currently function, requires attention.
Clasp tongue has been replaced/reattached, slight denting and soft solder visible. 
Approximate diameter of a belcher link 9.6-9.9mms.
Length of hand 3.1cms.
Seed pearl presumed replacement.
Seed pearl untested for natural origin.
Ruby presumed foil back, appears a bright deep slightly pinkish red.
Size of diamond prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment. 
Electronically tests as approximately 20ct gold, presumed interference from gilt finish.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
