Comprising four models of bears with ruby eyes, spaced to the trace-link chain, variously holding a ruby, diamond, pearl or demantoid garnet.
Length of a bear 0.4cm.
Length 70cm. 19.1gm.

Condition Report
Surface scratches and minor marks.
File scratches to links near clasp.
Light file wear and associated slight discolouration to the reverse of two bears (diamond and garnet).
Diamond appears bright. Estimated spread weight 0.10ct.
Principal ruby appears a deep medium slightly purplish red.
Demantoid garnet appears a vibrant yellowish green. Noticeable abrasion to the crown facets. Estimated dimensions 3.5 by 3.2mm.
Pearl untested for natural origin.
Pearl is a creamy white. Good lustre. Wear to the outer nacre layers. Estimated diameter 3.8mm.
Clasp is stamped 9ct, possible replacement.
Electronically tests to reverse of the garnet bear and to area of links with slight file marks through the gilt finish as approximately 17-19ct gold, still possible interference from gilt finish.
Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
