Lot Description

The pink tourmaline, demantoid garnet and ruby floral frond, with vari-cut diamond accents. 

Signed Cartier, London, 1393.

Surface scratches and minor marks.
General slight discolourations.
Diamonds appear bright and fairly well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. 
Diamonds with few small nicks. 
Tourmaline appear a bright medium pink and deep medium slightly purplish pink. Varied inclusions, slight nibbles and facet-edge abrasions. 
Diameter of larger tourmaline 5.3mm. 
Demantoid garnet appears a vibrant deep medium yellowish green. Moderate abrasions. 
Estimated dimensions of garnet 4.6 by 4.5mm.
Ruby appears a fairly bright, medium deep slightly purplish red. Facet-edge abrasions.
Electronically tests as approximately 9ct gold.
