A Victorian 15ct gold sapphire, split pearl, imitation pearl and blue paste ring, one sapphire deficient, hallmarks for Birmingham, 1882, ring size M1/2, 1.6gm.
A mid 20th century 18ct gold split pearl and rose-cut diamond dress ring, two gems deficient, hallmarks for Birmingham, 1868, ring size N, 1.9gm.

Metal with some surface scratches/wear and areas of minor discolouration.
Evidence of resizing to both rings.
Few gems to both rings deficient, in need of replacement.
One split pearl to the sapphire, paste and split pearl ring appears to be replaced with an imitation pearl.
Nature of rose-cut diamonds prevent accurate carat weight estimation.
Diamonds appear bright to fairly bright, with minor to light nick/nibbles.
Split pearls with typical surface blemishes, few with noticeable nacre damage.
Sapphires appear medium blue hue, with noticeable nick/nibbles.
Paste appear medium vivid blue hue, with fairly heavy abrasion and nick/nibbles.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevent accurate colour and clarity assessment.
