A. D. BELL (British, 20th Century) A clipper on a choppy sea, together with a companion study, a matched pair. Oil on board, both signed lower left, one dated 1939, the other 1940. 14" x 10" (35.5cm x 25.5cm); Together with a watercolour of a woodland scene, indistinctly signed, possibly 'W. H. Hilliey", and an oil painting by Dorothea Hyde. (4)
