A Vienna porcelain ovoid vase, supported on three slender legs with hoof feet joined by a triform base, painted with a wide frieze of classical maidens and a male painter, signed 'Kern' (?), reserved against a deep blue ground richly embellished with gilt decoration, the underside with painted beehive mark, a gilt rose and the name 'Apellus', height 7.5" (19cm).
