An 18th Century Italian polychrome maiolica waisted albarello painted with an oval profile male portrait and inscribed S D Jombe on a scroll banner, on a foliate scrolling ground, 12.5" (32cm) high (some chipping and damage)

    It has 3 large chips to its neck, in the sides of the jar are 3 small holes or flaws, these do not go through to the interior. round the foot there is some paintloss and minor chipping.
