Edwardian opal and demantoid garnet lozenge

Condition Report

Edwardian opal and demantoid garnet lozenge shaped brooch with a central garnet and four marquise shape opals spaced by further garnets and circular opals to the outer edges in an open work and scroll design. Length 4.3cm, with pendant fitting.

Purchasing information
    Generally good condition. Minor scratches to all of the gold. The opals all have a good play of colour, showing blue, greens and pinks. There is some minor abrasion to the demantoid garnets. All of the settings appear generally secure. The back bar is a little bent.
