A Set of George II and George III silver open

Condition Report

A Set of George II and George III silver open salts, the circular bodies with frilled and gadrooned rim each raised above three shell and hoof feet, each with heraldic style engraving. Height measuring 1 3/4 inches (4.5cm), gross combined weight 325grams (10.4ozt. Hallmarked London 1759 and 1762 with the makers mark D.H.

Purchasing information
    Overall in good condition, much of the wear is in keeping with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing, there are some dents and bumps. Most of the feet show some imprint from the inside. The hallmarks are rubbed but legible, the makers marks are more rubbed being more legible to some than others. There are no blue glass liners. The heraldic engravings are rubbed.
