George III silver jug of baluster form, the body

George III silver jug of baluster form, the body with part oblique fluting with wheat ear detail, further embossing, engraved cartouche reading 'From Royal Corinthian Yacht Club 1901' scrolling raffia bound handle and hinged id with gadrooned detail and high shaped finial, hallmarked Daniel Smith & Robt. Sharp London 1762, height measures 9 1/2 inches (24cm), weight 19.9ozt (618 grams).

Purchasing information
    The silver jug is noticeably heavily tarnished, also with remnants of old polish and general scratches and marks, much of the wear is reflective of the age and use , the finial has bent causing a dent to one side and a tear to the other, nest to the bottom join of the handle there looks to have been a repair, the bulbous part of the body bears a dent to one side, the hallmarks are clear and legible to the base.
