Condition Report

Edwardian silver christening mug with presentation engraving, hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd Birmingham1904. Together with a 1930's silver egg cup hallmarked Viner's Ltd Sheffield 1938; a modern silver mounted napkin ring and two silver teaspoons. Gross silver weight 6 ozt (189 grams).

Purchasing information
    The silver displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The mug and egg cup ion particular have heavy tarnishing. Dints visible to the base of the egg cup. The napkin ring has a material lining. The napkin ring is hallmarked Birmingham 1996. The teaspoons are hallmarked Birmingham 1922. All hallmarks are clear and legible. The engraving to the Christening mug reads 'Presented to John Anthony Carleton Hunter by his Godfather Dr Anthony Bathe 2nd Nov 1907'.
