A pair of Volkstedt porcelain figures20th Century, modelled as a gentleman holding a flower and a lady with basket of grapes, each in flower-decorated costume in the 18th Century taste, underglaze blue crossed pitchfork mark (Volkstedt/Rudolstadt) and red painted number 38 to each, 15.5cm, (6") high, (2)

Female figure is holding aloft a bunch of grapes, stalks and leaves both have damage. Basket under are fille dwith grapes also has minor losses to leaves. Gilding to base heavily worn with losses. Male figure has damage to petal of flower, with similar losses to gilded base
