Four cameo brooches.

Condition Report

Four cameo brooches, to include a 9ct gold oval shell cameo carved to depict a bacchante, a 9ct gold Wedgwood jasper brooch and two shell cameo brooches. Two with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1977 and Chester 1912. Two unhallmarked.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair/good. There are slight scratches and areas of dark discolouration to the bacchante brooch, the cameo is well carved and in good condition. The back pin and catch secure. There is dirt and wear to the Wedgwood cameo brooch, the detail is quite worn, there are slight scratches to the outer surround. There is quite a lot of wear to the detail of the other cameo brooch, there are scratches and areas of discolouration to the setting. There is black discolouration to the outer surround of the marcasite brooch. Quite a few of the back pins have been replaced.
