A cameo brooch and a painted porcelain brooch.

Condition Report

Two late 19th century brooches, to include an oval shell cameo brooch depicting a bacchante within a spaced scroll design surround and an oval painted porcelain brooch depicting a boy within a scroll engraved surround. Length 5 to 6.2cms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good. The shell cameo is in good condition, there are slight scratches and areas of discolouration to the outer surround, as well as patches of greening. The cameo is in good condition, the outer collet to the cameo is dented with areas of solder joining, the cameo has possibly been added to the frame at a later date. The back pin is white metal. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the surround of the porcelain brooch, there is slight dirt to the porcelain in places. The back of the porcelain is dirty.
