Condition Report

A late 19th century 9ct gold Irish-themed locket. Of oval outline, the front designed as a harp within a three-leaf clover surround, the back with floral engraving and scroll. Length 6.3cms. Weight 18.1gms. With associated damaged, case.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with minimal wear. The locket shows moderate tarnish/discolouration. The locket snaps shut securely, the lower half is slightly ajar but seems secure. The inside has mounts, slightly discoloured silk and one side has glass with minor nicks. The box is in good condition bar a split near the hinge and discolouration to the silk in the lid. The silk to the lid is also slightly loose. Unhallmarked.
