Condition Report

A mid 20th century mother-of-pearl cameo and diamond brooch. The circular mother-of-pearl carved to depict a soldier in profile, with single-cut diamond collet accents, to the stylised palmette and tapered foliate sides. Length 7.4cms. Weight 7.8gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with minor wear. Stamped 18k and makers mark, appears to be JY with a bird between within an oval surround. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.02ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The brooch is a slightly greeny yellow tint.
